Okay, so in my last xanga update I forgot to include one of the worst things that happened at the end of school....  It happened when I was walking over to Evana's and someone dropped a water balloon on my head.  Except it wasn't until I got to Evan's and Evan was like "what is that beer smell?" when I realized that the water balloon was filled with beer!!!!

Okay, so now that Exams are done I can update you on the happenings of my life at the end of school.  First there was of course the Theta formal, which was a lot of fun.  We all had pizza and beverages over in Karrie's room before the formal.  Then Evan and I went back and got dressed, and the whole gang of us walked down to the Theta house for formal.  Well we go there and there were no vans there so Hayley and I had to break into the house to find the phone list, and call like every Theta.  Then, my big sister Shelby called and said the vans were running late.  So, the vans got there eventually and the drivers had no idea where they were going.  It was not a good van night for theta, between only having two mini vans and all of that van craziness.  Then of course formal was a blast even though I am a terrible dancer.  And then after the formal, Adam (Karrie's boyfriend), Karrie, Evan, and I all went to Karrie's sisters house for the night.  It seriously seemed like we were two married couples visiting each other.  We all drank wine and sat in her sisters hot tub, talked for hours, ate even more, and then went to bed.  It was such a great night!!!

Then of course after this great night the stress began with the last week of classes, finals, and the pressure of saying goodbye to everyone before school ended.  In the midst of all of this craziness the highlights were....  The senior roast, going to a cookout at alpha sig with Evana, my baby brother coming to take me out to lunch, our Kids and sibs dinner at Olive Garden, and driving home to drop stuff off with Evan and Cheryl (It just felt like it was summer then).

Okay last week had three main highlights!!  Seamus Heaney, Derby Days, and TRISTAN!!!!

~  Okay, I am truely now an English nerd, now that I have decided to be an English major, because I was practically in heaven with the Nobel prize winning, Irish poet Seamus Heaney came to OWU!!!  My daddy (aka puppy) even came up for this exciting event and took Keeley, Evan, and me all out to dinner.  It was magical!

~  Yay for sigma chi's derby days! It is about time Theta won something. New members the skits rocked and I heart you all.  And of course I heart Theta!

~  And the big highlight of the week was the second grade visiting classroom for my education class with my buddy Tristan.  I seriously fell in love with this amazing kid.  He was soooooooo precious and I had the best time using him as my little education experiment and just eating lunch with him and stuff.  I will never forget when he told me that he had a girlfriend in the class, Selena, and that they have been dating since Kindergarden.  He also said, that he "loved her ever since the moment the he laid eyes on her."  Also, he said the reason why he didn't talk to her very much at school was because he didn't want the other kids to know that he loves her!!  You can not get more precious than that people!!!  Also, it was pretty funny when we were reading a book together in the education library and he asked me if he could go look and see what was in this little cage ,thing and we walked over to look at what  was a hermit crab... except it was dead.  Poor Tristan.  I seriously melted though when we had to say goodbye and he told me how much he would miss me and loved having me as his buddy!!  What a great kid!!!!

So I really have been slacking on the xanga updates.  Anyway here is yet another exciting update in the so-called life of Elizabeth Ann Long.

Okay so Friday, February 16th I went home, to go see Vaud-Villities, which my uncle Bob Murphy was director of for some 50 years.  This year they honored him by having a reception before the show and a sports segment of the show which featured a song called "your a buckey" which was about Uncle Bob.  I seriously bawled, but I loved it!!  The whole show was of course amazing, and as usual my cousins were awesome.  And other than the Uncle Bob part, the highlight of the show was tied between when one of the "hi neighbor" guys shook my hand!!!  YES THAT IS RIGHT... ONE OF THE "HI NEIGHBOR" GUYS SHOOK MY HAND!!  And David Baget sang an adorable little number in channel 10 tv new's and vaud-villities search for a star contest.

Then on Saturday I of course came back to school.  PS. It was the most gorgous day... and I came back to find out that my gorgeous roommate Cheryl was beyond hung over.  However, the funny thing is that she got some action when I am away (whenever I go home for a night she always gets action hmmm) and it turns out the guy she made out with.....WAS FROM HER HIGH SCHOOL AND SHE DID NOT KNOW IT!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.  Anyway, Karrie and I spent the day shopping and finding our beloved little a birthday present.  And then we came back and sat outside and did homework on welch lawn.  At night Karrie, Lauren, Ashley Peele, Danielle and I all went out to celebrate Danielle's birthday at Friday's.  And even though "The Roots" were playing at OWU, Karrie, Lauren and I had way too much fun lounging, working, watching movies, and making runs to UDF for ice cream and huge milkshakes!!!  WHAT A GREAT DAY!!!  PS.  I seriously want Ashley Peele to start a jewelry making business, because she has mad talent!!!

Sunday was filled with the Delt volleyball tournament, running home for everything I forgot at home the day before, and a mucho amount of homework; however, the day was topped off with a fun run with Keeley and Evan to Rockey's!!

BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!

So the highlights of last week include...

~  Okay even though I totally love President Bush, I was irritated he cut into American Idol.  However, when I watched Latoya sing "Somewhere" from "West Side Story" on American Idol last Wednesday, it was too magical for words.  And of course I had to call my Bethoney, because it was "West Side Story."  Can I just say how much I love and miss Bethany.  Side note: watching John Peter Lewis get voted off last week on American Idol was for sure not one of my favorite moments.

~  The warmer weather towards the End of the week.

~  The season finale of "The Apprentice"... YAY FOR BILL WINNING!!!

*And isn't it sad when you can't remember what else, and most of the happiness in your week revolves around television... yay for college!
